Jake Wisely is Chief Publishing Executive at Concord Music, where he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s Music Publishing and Theatricals businesses, including the creative operations, business affairs, licensing, and administration of Concord’s growing catalog and roster, which spans a vast array of rights, eras, genres and territories.
Songwriters and composers whose works are represented by Concord include George Harrison, Mark Ronson, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Igor Stravinsky, Daft Punk, Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Fogerty, Aaron Copland, Trent Reznor, Irving Berlin, Glen Ballard, Marvin Hamlisch, Pink Floyd, Robert Johnson, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Sebastian, Dolly Parton and Steve Miller, among many other classic and contemporary creators.
Concord maintains music publishing offices in Beverly Hills, Nashville, New York, Miami, London and Berlin.
Wisely is an equity partner in Concord Music, which also includes the label imprints: Concord Records, Fantasy, Fearless, Kidz Bop, Loma Vista and Rounder, among other classic and contemporary labels.
Wisely is a Director on the Board of the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) and a member of ASCAP’s Board of Review. He was Director of Membership at ASCAP and has worked in the creative departments of both EMI Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing.
