NMPA Announces Top Gold & Platinum Honorees for March 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – NMPA today announced the top songwriters, publishers, and 1,354 certifications of hit songs for March as part of its Gold & Platinum Program.

In partnership with the RIAA’s Gold & Platinum Program, NMPA finds and certifies the songwriters and publishers of RIAA-certified singles. RIAA counts both sales and on-demand streams towards its Gold (500K), Platinum (1M) and Multi-Platinum (2M+) thresholds.  Thousands of songwriters have been recognized since NMPA’s program began in 2007.

The top songwriter for March 2018 is Eminem (UMPG) with twenty-four certifications: Beautiful, Berzerk, Crack A Bottle, Love The Way You Lie, No Love, Rap God, Shake That, Space Bound, The Monster, and When I’m Gone all certified Multi-Platinum; Cinderella Man, Headlights, Survival, We Made You, Won’t Back Down, and You Don’t Know certified Platinum; and 25 To Life, 3AM, Best Friend, Cold Wind Blows, Guts Over Fear, Kings Never Die, Phenomenal, and Talkin’ To Myself all certified Gold.
