Justin Uehlein

Justin joined NMPA in 2023 as VP of Research and Industry Analysis.

His background is in anthropology and research and analytics.

Prior to joining NMPA, Justin taught at American University where he is finishing his Ph.D. His previous work focused on labor, labor rights, and the political economy of homelessness in the United States. Justin has extensive research experience, including with the UMWA, the HRC, and the CAEP.

Justin was a fellow with the Institute for Policy Studies and has a background in campaign oriented research. Justin’s work in anthropology has been featured in the Washington Post and on NPR, as well as in several local media outlets.
